Reading an image - media codes.

 the written code gives a deeper meaning which makes audiences which makes audiences question themselves and may make them see the importance of life. this may give them motivation. By the written quote  he suggest that life can be taken away and end at anytime and it is extremely valuable. the font of the writing is serif which is also similar to newspaper fonts. this may symbolise crime stories in a newspaper of people dying or being locked up for life and not being able to live with freedom again. the quote "i am what i am" shows strength within himself and his identity as a person, which he may be suggesting to the audience that see the poster to be certain and confident within themselves no matter where or what they came from. the finger prints are a narrative code as it paints a picture for the audience to show that around can ruin your live at anytime. 50 cent was shot multiple times while being brought up in the projects( the ghetto-some people call it ) in America.   Newspapers Which daily newspapers (if any) do you read?  I don't usually sit and read a newspaper but if there is one in front of me (normally at work) i will skim through it and see if there is anything interesting or if there is any discounts(some newspapers have McDonalds discount) What sections of newspapers do you turn to first, and why? whatever in front of me i would just look through,normally everyday a man comes and drops a newspaper off at work What sections do you never read, and why? nothing to long  What kinds of stories do you usually read and why? 1) What meanings are the audience encouraged to take about the two main characters from the opening of the film?  the film shows how language is not needed to communicate but however without words can be misunderstood and interpretd differently as multipe times people though that the boy was going to stab someone or shoot the shopkeeper however that was all a misunderstanding as he was holding a banana instead of a gun and  a pencil instead of the knife. 2) How does the end of the film emphasise de Saussure’s belief that signs are polysemic – open to interpretation or more than one meaning?   1) Why did you choose A Level Media Studies? i am very interested in the film and music industry and the different aspects of social media. At my old school the didn't offer it either. 2) Did you take GCSE Media Studies (either here at Greenford or a different school)? unfortunately not as the didn't offer it there 4) What grade do you hope to achieve in A Level Media? i am hoping for an A or an B 5) What are your current thoughts about your next steps after A Levels - university, apprenticeship, work? i would really like it be an  accountant. i enjoy maths and working with money. i also believe that it is a job that is suited for me. 6) What do you think the biggest MEDIA story of 2022 has been and why? i believe the Queens passing has been the biggest media story so far as it has been broadcasted around the world. The queen is loved and known all around the world so her dead is the biggest story in the media so far. 7) What media sources do you use to find out about news an
